Parallel Teaching

Summary

In the Parallel Teaching approach, students are divided into two groups and each teacher instructs one of the groups. The two teachers are addressing the same instructional material using the same teaching strategies. Parallel Teaching is helpful when teachers wish to teach the same content and use the same pedagogical strategies with smaller groups of students. This allows for more student engagement and discussion.
