The Purpose of This Workshop

Welcome to the co-planning online workshop, a deep exploration into the role of planning in a co-teaching partnership. This workshop is presented by the School of Education at CSU, Chico in collaboration with the College of Education at East Carolina University.

Thoughtful and thorough planning is essential to effective instruction. Co-planning is an approach where two or more teachers actively engage in planning together. The purpose of this workshop is to help you develop your co-planning skills.

The workshop is divided into several units. Each unit is divided into lessons for you and your co-planning partner to complete together. While you can access the units in any order, we recommend this sequence so you can first learn about the co-planning process, prior to developing your own co-planning skills.
