Description
This unit will focus on animal adaptations and how those are beneficial to each animal. The students will be exploring the classes of animals to compare and understand why animals are in the class they are in. During the explorations, books will be read, charts will be filled on scientific observation, students will participate in physical activities about animal movements, and a mathematical tally chart to practice analyzing data will be used. The final goal of this lesson is for the students to understand the adaptations animals have and allow them to choose one to focus on how it could help a human being if we had it.
