Description
In this unit, students learn about what seeds need most in order to grow properly into fully grown plants. Students understand that plants get the materials they need to grow from mainly air and water and understand that soil is not vital in the growth of the plant. Students understand this by growing plants with different conditions: no water, no air, no soil, and no light. The experiment included a control plant with all of these conditions for reference.
