Description
Dead Zones serve as the anchor for the entire unit. Using the 5E Model with Interactive Notebooks as an overall approach for the unit, students will explore Communities, Populations, Ecosystems, and Biomes, then continue into Food Chains/Webs, Predatory/Prey relationships and other interactions in ecosystems. Students will also explore the abiotic cycles: Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon & Water and how they interact and affect ecosystems and the organisms within them. Activities Include:
